Universal Universal curettes are conceived for moderate calculus removal on supragingival and subgingival toothsurfaces. With a semicircular tip used at 90° to the tooth root surface, The blade of a universal curette has a round toe and back, and two cutting edges for scaling.Universal curettes are very versatile because they can be used on all surfaces of teeth.
